Barcoding makes things fast and easy

Many systems use barcoding to speed up the entry of partnumbers and so on. Whilst this saves some time it's not a fantastic improvement.

The Herschel System uses barcodes in a far more inventive way.

Various documents can be printed with special barcodes. When these are scanned the Herschel software performs a complete transaction for you. This means that scanning one barcode can replace many mouse clicks and keyboard entries.

And of course, it practically eliminates errors!

Barcoding equipment

The Herschel System will print barcoded documents on any laser or inkjet printer. No special barcode printer is needed.

To scan barcodes you'll need a lost cost scanner (less than £100)that simply plugs into your PC's keyboard.

Purchase order receipt
Sales order despatch
Issue kit to works order
Issue kit line to works order
Receive a works order
Make a shopfloor booking
Clear a GRN for payment

And more transactions are being added all the time.
